Consultant Speech and Language Therapist
Based in Caerphilly, South Wales, working with families across the UK.
I'm Chris Wade, a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist based in Caerphilly, South Wales, but covering the whole of the UK. I live at home with my wife Nia, our four small children and our Cockerpoo Dixie.
I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist almost 16 years ago and have worked for five NHS Trusts, one charity and independently ever since, always obsessed with thoroughly assessing children to build a detailed picture of their strengths and needs.
Through my independent work I specialise in SEN / EHCP appeal assessments and Expert Witness representation at SEN Tribunals, and have also worked with families worldwide on Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment, including in India, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, Switzerland and Egypt.
